James Walker, DDS
Dr. Walker is a Cedar Rapids native and attended Washington High School. He completed his undergraduate studies and dental school at the University of Iowa, graduating in 2010. Following graduation, he completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, and the Iowa City VA Hospital.
Dr. Walker and his wife Marcy are avid fans of Iowa Football. They enjoy spending fall Saturdays cheering on the Hawkeyes. Some of his hobbies include biking, reading, traveling, playing with his golden retriever, and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Marcy Walker
Dr. Marcy Walker was born and raised in south central Minnesota. She attended the University of Iowa for her undergraduate degree and dental training. She graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2007. After graduation, she completed a one-year dental implant training. In 2008, she opened Hawkeye Family Dental in Iowa City. After nearly 13 years of providing general dental care to patients of all ages, she decided to sell her office and join her husband, Dr. James Walker, at Indian Creek Dental.
Marcy’s list of hobbies is endless, but some of her top favorites include: spending time with her husband and their twins, Beau and Genevieve; volunteering at their elementary school; crafting; taking Mia, their golden retriever, for walks, gardening; and cooking. Dr. Marcy Walker is excited to work with each patient to help them get a smile they love!
